We tackled later era songs and were joined by incredible guests Adam Weiner (Low Cut Connie), Katie Feeney (Roberta Faceplant), Wesley Stace (John Wesley Harding), John Faye, Steve Skinner and a stage invasion close by all who played on Where Have All the Good Times Gone. Where have they? At the Fallser Club!
05.30.26 - Porchfest West Philly! So much fun on the block, along with about 150 other bands who played on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon.

04.18.26 - Main Street Music in Manayunk - it was Record Store Day and we pressed up advance copies of our album Unproper and played a set at one of our favorite shops. King Tuff accidentally stole Jim’s guitar for a few hours, but Tyler Tisbury saved the day be quickly getting his pal’s so the show went on!

You know those nights when everything just clicks—the pints flowing, the stage humming, the music grinning at you like an old friend? That's the spark behind The No Good Crowd. Four longtime friends from the Philadelphia music scene, they make records fueled by chiming guitars, ragged harmonies, loud amplifiers, and a shared belief that rock & roll is still at its best when it brings people together.
Guitarists Jamie Olson and Jim McGuinn first crossed paths in Philly's semi-beloved Cordalene (2000–2005). After the split, Olson fronted the rootsy Midnight Singers alongside drummer Neil Simpkins before forming the Atlantic Coast Ramblers with bassist Brendan Skwire. McGuinn spent a decade in Minnesota with Saint Small and BNLX before returning home in 2023 to reunite with Olson—and The No Good Crowd was born.
Their first two singles on Manic Pop Thrill Records hinted at what was coming, pairing hook-heavy songwriting with garage-rock swagger and guest appearances from Adam Weiner (Low Cut Connie) and Emm Gryner (David Bowie). Now comes Unproper, the band's debut full-length—a ten-song collection that bounces from power pop to punk, folk rock to Americana, all anchored by the unmistakable chemistry of four musicians who genuinely love playing together.
As they sing, "It's All Right Now / Searching for the Flutter and Wow." That's been the mission from the beginning: chase the song, trust your friends, and make the kind of music that turns strangers into regulars and regulars into friends.
